Credit Authorization

1. Authorization

By submitting an application through Tow Loans, LLC ("Tow Loans"), you authorize Tow Loans and its third-party financing partners to obtain consumer and commercial credit reports and related information about you and your business from one or more consumer reporting agencies (including TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax) for the purposes of evaluating your application, presenting financing options, servicing any resulting account, and for other legally permissible purposes.

Tow Loans, LLC is not a broker and not a direct lender. Tow Loans is a referral source. Credit reports obtained in connection with your application may be reviewed by Tow Loans and by financing partners that are independent of Tow Loans.

2. Scope of Authorization

You understand that we and our financing partners may request your credit information:

  • In connection with this application
  • To present and evaluate financing options
  • To review or service any resulting financing account
  • For other legitimate business purposes associated with your application or resulting account

This authorization remains in effect for the duration of any credit relationship that may result from this application.

3. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Summary of Rights

Under the FCRA, you have the following rights:

  • You have the right to receive a copy of your credit report.
  • You have the right to dispute incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • Consumer reporting agencies must correct or delete inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information.
  • You may limit prescreened offers of credit and insurance.
  • You may seek damages from violators.

If a financing partner takes any adverse action based on your credit report, you will be notified and provided with:

  • The name, address, and phone number of the consumer reporting agency.
  • Your right to obtain a free copy of your credit report.
  • Your right to dispute the accuracy or completeness of any information.
